 Between April 1913 & April 1914 the church was struggling to finish and furnish the facilities.  While at the same time growing dramatically.  At the October 1913 meeting it was moved that 37 people be accepted into membership,  the work was really growing.  At the 1914 Annual General Meeting the ‘Roll Clerk’s report shews an increase of members by letter 73, baptism 9, experience 10 for a total of 92 new members.  A decrease by transfer by letter 7.  Bringing the total membership of the church to 187.

The finance committee reported (by bro. O.W. Benedict) great pleasure in stating that we commenced the new year free of debt.’

            Dear Friends

                        Permit me gratefully to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 24th just containing a resolution to thanksgiving for church conditions.  Which in the Providence of God I have had a humble share as a Steward of the Grace of God in bringing about.  I thank you for your kind wishes for my happiness and peace.

I rejoice with you in the prosperity enjoyed by the Church and my prayer is that you may be kept in the unity of the spirit and bonds of peace.

The Pastors report appended to page 47 is very complete and shows what the pastor was up to that year.  – business calls for church 35, committee meetings 50, pastoral calls 600, funerals 5, ankles sprained 1, baptised 9, gave hand of fellowship to new members 92, meetings addressed in R.M.M. 193, sermons preached in other churches 10. weddings 8.  

The next year will be a trial for RMMBC and the world.
